A Discussion of Story and Setting in Video Games

So yeah, that whole “Callenya” explanation didn’t happen. Sorry about that. It’s changed a lot over the last, what, month and a half? I’ll probably talk about it eventually. It was probably stupid to start it up right when school was starting up.

Also, the game review aspect is probably moving towards the background. I’d still really like to do it, and I still have the information compiled, but not only is it off-schedule, it’s completely derailed. At the time, I was looking at getting a new computer in a month or two (right about the end of the Morrowind project) but that fell through. You can’t do much in the way of modern games on an Intel Extreme Graphics Series 4 card. I mean, I can’t even get Dragon Age installed, much less playable.

Instead of direct game reviews, I’ll probably go to the more common, “ruminations upon a title” method. There’s more to say, but I’ll talk about it separately.
