“Setting Project” Working Title Decided

So I’ve settled on the working title for the Setting Project: “Callenya”. It actually sounds like it could be the name of a place, which is more than I’ve been able to do in the past. That said, I’m not completely satisfied with it. It sounds quite Russian/Slavic, and I’ve mostly been using Britain/Western Europe as the model. I expect that either the location inspiration will change or the name will by the time the project is completed. Probably the latter.

“Callenya” Project Statement

“Callenya” is a setting design project aimed at generating a setting large enough that one could create multiple protagonists without using the same plot lines. Further more, in case that wasn’t over-ambitious enough, the interactive setting can only be as large as one town.

End of Love

Well, in case anyone was following this blog, it’s sort of dead. Events have come to pass that mean I won’t be able to play anything past about 2004 until mid-December, and since I don’t want to spend months just reviewing Foundation titles (looking in the past doesn’t reveal the future), I’m closing shop at least temporarily.

That said, this space will remain active. I’m working on a little setting experiment, and I may as well use this blog to develop it. Here’s the schedule for the next few days:

8/20: Vague Project Description

8/21: Preliminary Project Goal-Lines

8/22: Current Questions

8/23: Early Concepts
